I did that and answered all the questions presented. Form 1310 on the Federal taxes was filled in as expected. The IN Schedule 7 was not filled in with the name. I ultimately printed the return, filled in the missing information and submitted the return through the mail. I checked before replying here with the latest updates and no change in IN Schedule 7.

@xmasbaby0, I owe you an apology here. I read elsewhere on the internet -- Can I E-file my Amended Federal Return (Form 1040X)? -- that one of the cases in which e-filing 1040X is not permitted is the case where the refund amount on the amended return is $0. (Which means, I think, that the amended return is identical to the original from the perspective of amount of tax owed or refund needed.) Since that describes my situation, my experience doesn't speak to whether or not desktop TT currently supports e-filing 1040-X.

TurboTax doesn't have any information regarding your refund once it's filed. Some reasons why your refund is lower than the amount on your tax return: If a taxpayer and/or spouse owe money to Az Department of Revenue (ADOR) or another agency, the amount may be deducted from an expected refund If a taxpayer and/or spouse owes money to the State of Arizona, a political subdivision, or a court., AZ has a Debt Offset program which is a State liability setoff program by which refunds may be used to satisfy debts that the taxpayer owes to any of these agencies. If you haven't received a notice from ADOR yet, you can call to find out more information at 602) 255-3381. Refer to the AZ Department of Revenue website: Outstanding Liabilities and Refund Offsets for additional information.

The most logical way to do it is to split the income and expenses on the property between each owner based on their ownership percentage, but it all depends on the agreement between you and the other owners. Is this a rental property or a property that you and/or any of the other owners live in?
If it's a rental property, here's a link that gives instructions on how to enter the activity in TurboTax:
Where do I enter income and expenses from a rental property?

Thank you @AmyC for your response. It’s unfortunate because I was in and out of these returns so many times over the last couple months, I just can’t believe it *finally* corrected itself, the final time I opened it, but *after* I had already efiled. Beyond frustrating. Ok, I shall await my refund and then amend only my AZ return as this exclusion has nothing to do w/my Federal return. Very happy to see that I can efile the amended return. Thanks so much for your assistance!

I e-filed my federal return, but I need to mail my Illinois (IL-1040) return because Illinois did not allow e-file (I did not file an IL return in the previous year). I want to confirm exactly what documents I should include in the Illinois mailing packet. Illinois packet currently includes: 2025 Form IL - 1040 2025 Schedule NR (Illinois Dept of Revenue) 1040 U.S. Individual Income tax 2025. Schedule 1 - Additional income and adjustments to Income. Schedule 2 - Additional Taxes. Schedule 3 - Additional credits and payments. W-2 (Kyndryl) 1099-R Payment check My questions: Is the above list complete for Illinois filing by mail? Or do I need to include any additional federal forms such as: Schedule B (Interest & Dividends) Schedule D (Capital Gains) Form 8949 (multiple pages) Schedule E (Rental) Form 4562 (Depreciation) Form 8582 (Passive Activity Loss) Form 8995A (QBI deduction) Form 8960 (Net Investment Income Tax) Form 5329 (Additional tax on retirement distributions) Form 8889 (HSA) Or is including just Form 1040 + Schedule 1/2/3 sufficient? Goal: I want to include everything required, but avoid sending unnecessary worksheets or extra forms. Thanks in advance for confirming!

"...it should be on my computer." You didn't say explicitly, but are you unable to find the *.tax2024 data file? The default folder for TurboTax data files is the Documents\TurboTax folder. But search your entire computer system for any file ending in *.tax2024, and if you have more than 1 Windows user account (such as an Admin account or multiple users), log into each Windows user profile and search from within it. Also check the Recycle Bin in each profile. A couple of users have reported their data file ended up in OneDrive somehow. Also check any external storage you may have backed it up to.
