The Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan (SLCSP) premium in column B of your form 1095-A is incorrect if:   Part III, Column B has a “0” or is blank for any month someone in your household had the Marketplace plan You had changes in your household that you didn’t tell the Marketplace about — like having a baby, moving, getting married or divorced, or losing a dependent   If either applies to you, you’ll use the government's tax tool to get the premium for your second lowest cost Silver plan and fill that cost in column B of form 1095-A. Failure to do this will result in a wrong calculation of the premium tax credit.

I think if you say "Yes" to that question instead of No you will get the box showing $4000 and can set it to $0.   Or adjust it on the worksheet if it will let you edit.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've done all that. Not only is 2024 missing but 2023 as well. I realized those are the first years I downloaded the software rather than buying a cd and uploading the info. The returns and software are simply not on my laptop any longer and it's the same computer I've used for the past 5 years. I noted that other have had the same problem, so where is my data.  It was very very frustrating to have to add all my info again. Not what I expect from Intuit.

Yes, TurboTax does provide a platform to file two different years.   You would start with the older tax return. You will log into File TurboTax for previous years. You can create an account,  This will provide the software program to prepare your return yourself. Or select Hand off my taxes. This will provide a professional tax preparer to do your return for you. When you've completed your older taxes, you can repeat the process and complete your current taxes. Yes, I do think TurboTax is worth it.  You have a complete set of filing options available to you.
No. Property taxes paid in January 2026 are deductible in your 2026 tax return.   You can only claim property taxes paid out-of-pocket during 2025 in your 2025 tax return.

Hi. First- I am not an attorney, or CPA.  In my 3+ years of using this work around method, it has never been an issue for me.  Never audited, or questioned about handling the foreign tax reporting this way.  In my view, I think the IRS just cares about the bottom line- getting the correct amount of money.  Also- in my situation the foreign taxes are generally small in comparison to the overall tax liability.  I (and others) are making a good  faith effort to accurately report our data using industry recognized software to comply with the increasingly Byzantine IRS taxe code.

The 5-digit signature PIN (aka "self-select PIN") can be any 5 digits of your choice, except cannot be all zeros.  The screen will say that.  It's on a screen with today's date and your birth date.   A filer can even use a different one every year, if desired.    It's probably the 2024 AGI causing an issue.  If you are sure it was the correct AGI from your original return, then try using a 2024 AGI of 0.  It can't hurt to try.  Sometimes, the 2024 AGI didn't make it into the IRS efile database in time, especially if someone filed late in the year.   Otherwise, please post the exact rejection error code and message.

Possibly, it depends on what the offset was for.   The Federal and State tax collection agencies are independent processes, but A State refund can be offset if you have outstanding State debts, or if the IRS places a levy against your State refund for unpaid federal taxes, The IRS will also give a notice, after the levy, offering you the opportunity to appeal the debt offset. "The Department of Treasury's Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS) issues IRS tax refunds.  Through the Treasury Offset Program, the IRS may reduce your refund and offset it to pay: Past-due child support; Federal agency nontax debts; State income tax obligations; or Certain unemployment compensation debts owed to a state (generally, these are debts for Compensation paid due to fraud, or Contributions owing to a state fund that weren't paid)." You can review the IRS article Reduced refund

No. If you did not have a Marketplace health policy in 2025, then you won't receive a form 1095-A.   You don't need to enter forms 1095-B or 1095-C in your tax return either.
Yes, if you filed previous years' tax returns using TurboTax Online.   Please read this TurboTax Help article for instructions on how to do it.

I have no foreign income.   Here's one possibility.   Do you happen to have a 1099-DIV that has $1.00 in Box 7?   Such as from a mutual fund, ETF, stock, etc. as an example?   It could be a separate form or could be on a broker's combined form.
