No one can see your screen or your tax return.  Why do you think you are being forced to post in the user forum?
Yes, this is what I found as well. Why not?  I have to file for my teenage kids...don't want to manage multiple email addresses.
Try entering the first three letters only.
Try retrieving your IP PIN here. It should change every year, and you should have received an IRS Notice CP01A letting you know your IP PIN.

I assume you have a file attached to the tax return? If so, It sounds like your file attachment is too big and the server is timing out before the entire file transmits.  If it is a pdf file,  you need to reduce the file size. This can be done in Adobe if you have a paid version or there are free websites where you can reduce a file size. Just be careful you use a trustworthy site. Research it first. If you don't have a paid Adobe subscription,  sometimes they offer 7 day free trials and you would just need to remember to cancel it before a charge. Good luck!!

Amend your son's return if he should not be allowed to claim himself. Next you must mail your tax return because it will never be accepted by the IRS.   Good news the amended return is ready for use (Form 1040-X)  Do not change your tax return until you read all the instructions. TurboTax needs to know the original numbers and the corrected numbers to provide the correct end results before you prepare it.   If you want to make changes or add a document to a tax return that has already been filed and accepted by the taxing agency, you should follow these guidelines.    You must first wait until the initial return is completely processed. You will have to use the same TurboTax account that you used for the original tax return. Once you begin your amendment, you'll see your original return. The refund calculator will start new at $0 and only reflect the changes in the refund or tax due Only make changes to the areas of your return that need to be corrected. You have three years from the date you filed your return or two years after you paid the tax due (whichever is later) to file an amendment Amend a tax return for the current tax year Tax Form Availability Who can I claim as a dependent? - confirm you are eligible to claim your son.   Check your son's state return for amendment as well.   @losgatharp
My electronic return was rejected because I made an error on my payers TIN number. How do I fix this?

If you have many transactions and the import feature is not importing properly, do the following:   Delete the imported Form 1099-B and manually enter the information.   Enter a summary for each category. When you enter a summary instead of individual trades, the IRS has specific "placeholder" rules for the dates:   Click on Wages & Income Select Add more income Scroll down to Investments and Savings and click down arrow Select Stock, Crypto...(1099-B...) Select Add investments, Add a different way Select Stock, Bonds, Mutual Funds (1099-B) Enter brokerage information, then Continue In the "Tell us about the sales..." section, then Continue In the "Now choose how to enter your sales", select Sales section totals, Continue   Date Acquired: Use the word "VARIOUS" Date Sold: Use the actual date of the last sale in that category, or simply 12/31/2025 (to represent the end of the tax year)   Your Form 1099-B is legally required to group your trades into categories. You will see headers, or sections, on your statement that look like this:   Short-Term Covered: (Box A) Basis was reported to the IRS Short-Term Non-Covered: (Box B) Basis was NOT reported to the IRS Long-Term Covered: (Box D) Basis was reported to the IRS Long-Term Non-Covered: (Box E) Basis was NOT reported to the IRS   You only need to make one entry for each category that has totals. If you have all 4 categories, you make 4 entries. If you only have Long-Term and Short-Term "Covered," you only make 2 entries.   Note: Because TurboTax sometimes creates separate forms for each section or skips entries entirely if they are in a non-standard format (like a bond sale or an asset with a missing cost basis), it is also important to look for any missing transactions, possibly due to them not being reported to the IRS. For example, 'Non-Covered' securities or employee stock plan sales often get left behind between your broker and the software.    If your summary totals in TurboTax don't match the Grand Totals on the front page of your Form 1099-B, the manual summary method is the safest way to ensure every dollar is accounted for.

One of my platforms (crypto.com) issued my 1099-DA. I noticed that two small dust transactions are missing (they total 0.057) and probably because it is so small and wouldn't make a significant difference in the proceeds or gain/loss. I also noticed that five of my crypto-crypto transaction proceeds are different than what I have in my csv file ( 0.51 difference), which is where I do my own record keeping from and input on my own 8949 form.    I reached out to crypto.com, but they told me that I should consult with my tax professional and that was it.  Then, I asked them to review my account and explain the small discrepancies and if necessary to issue me a corrected 1099-DA. So far, they have not responded and probably will not. Now, when I cross reference my accounting with theirs it is really only a .07 difference in proceeds. They do not include cost basis so I have to enter those in manually anyway.   Do I upload the 1099-DA into TT and add in the two small dust transactions and adjust the proceeds. I am concerned because if I make any adjustments the IRS may flag my account because it doesn't match the 1099-DA exactly. What should be done in this case? Thank You.

If his return gets accepted first he will need to amend his return AND you will have to print and mail your return to claim him.   So you don’t have to wait to file your return for his amended return to go through.   Once a ssn as primary has been filed you can’t file it again.

I don’t use the Interview method as it’s too rudimentary. I’m an experienced QuickTax/TurboTax user. There’s a bug in the desktop software not only for the current 2025 year but also 2024. I created fictitious users and inputted in the Dependent worksheet. I should add that the TurboTax Specialists and their supervisors using a Screen Share, couldn’t resolve the issue. When I edited the age of the dependent child from 24 to 17, the data from the Dependent Worksheet was correctly inputted. My adult informed dependent’s data isn’t being inputted in Schedule 5. Will contact CRA to make them aware that Intuit’s TurboTax is not ready for users to input data with confidence.

A few other users had a similar experience re: being prompted for a Canadian pension income entry.   If you are still having this issue:   We have information that in some cases this situation could have been created if you imported a 1099-R from your financial institution. If this applies to you, we recommend that you delete that 1099-R and re-enter it manually.  If you are in TurboTax Online, follow these instructions to delete the 1099-R. If you are using a Desktop version of TurboTax, follow these instructions.   @MikeD15

MY DEPENDENT SAID HE COULD NOT BE CLAIMED   Your dependent made a very common mistake often made by teenagers and students who are filing their first tax returns.  In MY INFO they should have said that they can be claimed as someone else’s dependent—-but they answered incorrectly and now your e-file is being rejected.   Your dependent will have to amend their return to change the way they answered that question in MY INFO.   They cannot amend until their return has been fully processed.   But you do not have to wait for them to amend.  Waiting will not help you at all.   You can file your return by mail, since mailed returns are not rejected.   It will take longer for the IRS to process your mailed return and delay your refund.   OR….Get an IP PIN to e-file.     GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return   https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-takes-steps-to-help-prevent-refund-delays-by-accepting-duplicate-dependent-returns-with-an-ip-pin-for-2025-filing-season-taxpayers-encouraged-to-sign-up-soon-for-ip-pin-online-account     https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin
