My returned e-file only mentions the tax return payment method. But my federal tax due does not. How can I verify that I did choose "Withdraw the money from my bank account" when I filed?
We have no access to your information.  Are you asking about your TurboTax fees or are you asking about tax you owe to the IRS?

The IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until January 26.  If you e-file now, your return will just sit on a server in "pending" where you cannot do anything to fix mistakes you discover.   If and when your return is rejected you can try to fix it and re-file without additional fees.
No one can see your screen or your tax return.  We do not know what "this one" is.  Please explain.

Sometimes the IRS catches those mistakes, and sometimes not--- or maybe not right away.     Did you click that big orange button that said “Transmit my return now?”  If you did that, you cannot do anything to fix it yet.  You have to wait for the email that tells you if your return was accepted or rejected.   Since the IRS will not begin to accept/reject returns until January 26, you are going to be waiting in “pending” for awhile.  Your return is sitting on a server, where you cannot fix  it or get it back.   You cannot change or add anything on the return that you just e-filed, nor can you stop it.  It is too late, just like when you put an envelope in a US mailbox on the corner.  The IRS does not allow you to take it back.   If you left out a W-2, a 1099G, or a dependent, or a 1099 etc…DO NOT change your return while it is “pending.”  The changes will go nowhere.   Now you have to wait until the IRS either rejects or accepts your return.  If your return is rejected, you will be able to go into your account and make the necessary changes to your tax return and re-submit your return.     If the IRS accepts your return, however, then you have to wait longer until it has been fully processed and you have received your refund.  THEN you can prepare an amended tax return and e-file or mail  it in. You have to be able to work from that return exactly the way it was when it was e-filed originally.  You will need to use a form called a 1040X.     Meanwhile, DO NOT go in and start changing anything on your return in the system, or you will make a mess for yourself.  Sit tight and wait until you see what the IRS does with the return you just e-filed   The Form 1040X you need becomes available in late February,  But wait until your return has been processed.

Do you mean that someone prepared all of those returns last year---for 2021 through 2024?   How did your friend file those past year returns?  Only a 2024 return could be e-filed.   Returns for 2021, 2022, or 2023 had to be filed by mail.   They had to be printed, signed and dated by you, and mailed to the IRS and state.   Did your friend have you sign the returns and did you mail them?   TurboTax does not ever get any information from the IRS or your state after your tax return has been filed, and cannot intercede with the IRS for you.      It is up to you to have a conversation with your friend to see exactly what they did, and to follow up with the IRS yourself.   IF the returns were filed, then you can use the IRS refund site to look for information.   You need to use your filing status (single, married fiing jointly, etc etc) your Social Security number, and the amount of the refund shown on line 35a of the Form 1040. https://www.irs.gov/refunds

You can no longer use TurboTax to amend a 2019 tax return.   2019 software is no longer supported or provided with updates.   You can seek paid local tax help or you can get the 1040X from the IRS to prepare by hand.   If the form shows a better refund than the one you received, it will not be paid.   If you owe more, it still has to be paid with interest.

The IRS will begin to accept/reject e-files on January 26.   Until then, if you e-file, your return will just sit on a server,  waiting for the IRS to open.     Are you the custodial parent?  Do you have an agreement with the other parent to allow the other parent to claim them--due to divorce or that you live apart and share custody?  Did one of you sign a Form 8332?   If there is a signed 8332 then the custodial parent retains the right to file as Head of Household, get earned income credit and the childcare credit.  The non-custodial parent gets the child tax credit for children under the age of 17.  If the child is 17 or older the non-custodial parent gets the $500 credit for other dependents.   If you and the other parent have a signed agreement, you need to indicate in MY INFO that you have such an agreement.   As far as the IRS is concerned, the custodial parent is the one with whom the child spent the most nights during the tax year--at least 183 nights.       If the other parent files an incorrect return claiming the child then your recourse is to either file your own return by mail so that the IRS sorts out the duplicate use of the children's SSN's or you can obtain six digit IP PIN's for the children to use on your own return.   GET IP pin in order to e-file if your dependent’s SSN was claimed on another return   https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-takes-steps-to-help-prevent-refund-delays-by-accepting-duplicate-dependent-returns-with-an-ip-pin-for-2025-filing-season-taxpayers-encouraged-to-sign-up-soon-for-ip-pin-online-account     https://www.irs.gov/identity-theft-fraud-scams/get-an-identity-protection-pin

First be aware there is an extra $40 service fee for that option ($45 for California filers.)   You avoid that service fee by paying upfront with credit/debit card or a prepaid debit card you buy in a store.  When paying out of refund, the refund must be large enough to pay for the product, the extra service fee, and any sales tax, if applicable.   If you do want to pay out of your refund, see this FAQ which lists the criteria to be eligible:   FAQ:  Can I pay with my refund? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/intuit-account-billing/deduct-turbotax-fees-refund/L7izIIFJq_US_en_US

What state is it, and how and where is it not letting you finish?    Do you get any error message?
