Yes, you would need to amend to claim the credit if the credit was being generated from Qualified fuel cell property.  If you marked no, then you would not have a credit showing up on line 11.  I recommend reviewing your Form 5695 as filed to confirm.   If you do determine you need to amend, please follow these instructions.  Any changes made to your federal return will pass on to your state return.
Please see this FAQ for some solutions.

How did you send in the payments?  Did you send them in with a 1040V voucher?  If you used a 1040ES slip that was for quarterly estimated payments for NEXT year 2025 so it didn't get applied to the 2024 tax due.  The current tax due should be 1 payment due by April 15 on the 1040-V.    You should look up your IRS account and see what year they applied all your payments to, like the one you paid in Jan 2025.   Probably call the IRS to straighten it all out.

I received a CP23 saying that my tax return was changed to match their record of payments made.  They say I owe $1337.25 which makes no sense.  The payment forms were printed to pay $954 and that is what I have paid twice now.  They say I should be paying $986.  A penalty of $128 was listed on Line 38 on my return and a different total was listed.  However, I used the forms printed by you for my quarterly payments.  Why do they say that I owe the above amount that must be paid by June 23?  What is the penalty for and why are the payment amounts different?  Because of illnesses and surgeries, I forgot to send in my January 2025 payment for 2023 taxes.  However, I did send that payment of $626 in April 2025 when I realized my mistake.  I don't know if that figures in in any way.  I believe the calculations must be a mistake and I do not understand why I should owe what they say, which they say I must pay immediately.  Please help me!

@rbourne2 wrote: What is the fee for the software to complete my 2019 taxes? TurboTax does not support tax year 2019.   To complete and file a 2019 tax return you would need to find a local tax professional to assist you with the tax return. Or you can use the IRS website for prior year forms and schedules - https://www.irs.gov/prior-year-forms-and-instructions
What is the fee for the software to complete my 2019 taxes?
I want to complete my 2019 taxes.  Your site said I can only do this by purchasing the software.  If this is correct, what is the fee for this?
