Errors Preventing Netfile

Hi! When I try to remove the overrides on all forms to file via Netfile, TurboTax takes me back to the same screen to try and fix the errors to make my submission eligible for Netfile. It seems to go in a circle without actually resolving the error so I can't Netfile.

You will not be able to Netfile at this time because CRA has closed Netfile services for all years and will resume on February 23rd, 2025.

Thank you for choosing TurboTax.

Ok thanks! Does it matter that TurboTax didn't appear to try 'connecting' to the Netfile service? It looked like the error was still within the software as I was trying to resolve a CPP over payment amount. To 'fix' the automatic calculation, I had to set the CPP over payment amount to "$0" but then that created another error which prevents Netfiling because I have an override value on my T1-General form (by inputting $0 instead of the CPP over payment amount).

NETFILE is not open, so there will be no connection. What is the exact error message that you are getting?

Check to see if you have any open forms that need to be deleted.

Switch to Forms Mode (click the Forms icon at the top or bottom).

Look at the list of "Open Forms" on the left-hand side.

If you see a form listed that you don't actually need, click on it.

Go to the Forms menu at the top and select Close/Delete [Form Name].

If TurboTax thinks an empty form is "in progress," it will block Netfile until that form is either completed or deleted.

I switched to forms mode and closed all the unused forms but I'm still unable to Netfile because of the CPP overpayment (which if I try to fix, creates an override that also prevents Netfiling).
