remote work in a different state - are state taxes due?

I live and work entirely in Florida as a consultant / contractor. One of my clients is based in Nebraska. Do I have to file a nebraska state tax return for the money i earned from my nebraska client?

i need further clarification. I didn't give you all the facts. The company that pays me has a statutory address in FLorida which is the state I live it.  That company is owned by a company whose home office is in Nebraska.  If the address of the company that is paying me on my 1099 is Florida, I assume I DON"T have to file Nebraska, even though the parent company is in Nebraska?

You assume correctly, you do not file a Nebraska tax return nor owe any Nebraska state income taxes just because the headquarters for the company is based in Nebraska.
