I live in a studio. If i open a LLC can I use my studio's rent as a LLC expense as an office space to offset capital gains from stock option trading(trades last no more than a couple days)? And when I open an LLC do I need a mailing address with it or will a PO box suffice?

No. In order to claim office space it must be regular and exclusive use to be deductible If you have an area dedicated completely to the office, then you can claim a home office deduction. Dedicated area means no other work, homework, or anything is done there. You would have to prorate for the deduction. Example, your studio is 500 sq. ft. your office is 20 sq. ft. You would only be able to claim 4% of your expenses for the home office.
