Under box 14 My Employer listed DIS HB if I classify it as other not listed it reduces my Federal return. If I list it as any other thing it increases my return . what would be the proper classification

That's interesting. For the most part, Box 14 on your W-2 does not impact your refund as the entry provided by your employer is for informational purposes only. If the code listed in this box on your W-2 is not an available code in TurboTax, then the Other category would be the most appropriate choice.

CarolC is correct that most box 14 codes are simply made up by the employer in order to communicate some piece of information to the employee.

We have no idea what "DIS HB" refers to, and do not know why this would affect TurboTax's processing (if indeed it does, since sometimes TurboTax has to change things out of sequence with what you are entering on the screen).

Contact your employer and ask what this code means.
