When a tax return is e-filed and rejected, the IRS sends a code explaining the rejection. When you log in to TurboTax, it should indicate the rejection and the reason why the return was rejected. The error will need to be cleared before you can try to file again. TurboTax will indicate what is necessary to resolve the error.
