On my 1098, box 5. Mortgage Insurance Premium is blank. However, under box 10. Other, They listed Taxes Paid, and Insurance Paid. I am wondering if the amount listed under Insurance Paid is the same as Mortgage Insurance Premiums, and if I can list that as such.

Insurance shown in Box 10 of form 1098 is Homeowners' insurance paid through your escrow account. Homeowners' insurance is not deductible.

Mortgage insurance premiums are reported in box 5 of form 1098.
