Had treatment for medical issue performed in the Netherlands. Is any of the costs incurred (treatment, travel, lodging, meals, etc.) deductible?

Yes, medical expenses paid for outside of the United States are still deductible.

You should only include medical expenses for which you paid in 2016 (out of pocket, credit card etc.)

Data entry:

  1. Federal Taxes
  2. Deductions and Credits
