    To report your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) contribution in TurboTax, follow these steps:

    Open TurboTax.
    Navigate to Federal > Deductions & Credits > Charitable Donations > Donations to Charity in 2023.
    Start or revisit the section.
    On the screen labeled “Donations,” select “Yes.”
    On the next screen, enter the name of the charity.
    Select “Add” next to the stock (if applicable).
    Continue with the prompts to complete the entry.

    I also have quesionts around this topic.  I opened a DAF with Morgan Stanley in 2024 with a transfer of appreciated stock.  I have no idea the name of the DAF or the address.  Thank you.

    @SallyRandall

    You should be able to see it's name as you log into your MS GIFT account.

    Just doing  a simple Google Search myself, it sounds like they call it the:

    Morgan Stanley Global Impact Funding Trust (MS GIFT)

    BUT, I have no idea if they might have more than one DAF for various purposes.

    Call a Morgan Stanley adviser and ask.
