In the HSA section, indicate that you had an HSA (which you did in 2022 if you received a 2022 Form 1099-SA), then answer Yes when asked if you received a distribution and then enter the 2022 Form 1099-SA on the page that 2022 TurboTax presents..

Hello,

Thanks for the tips.

I am using deluxe version and here are more details about my situation.

I ended HSA at the end of 2021 and got its distribution at 2022 and I got letter saying I need to report this to IRS as part of 2022 tax report.

when I go through the 1099-SA section and interview process, there is no choice for o input distribution per my situation since i have to choose ‘no’ for HSA enrollment for 2022. The interview just checks my 2021 conditions and ends. Any idea?
