W-2 Box 14
I have a "Check This Entry" for Box 14 on my W-2.
There are 2 entries: LST which is a local tax, but I also have PAU, is this a PA unemployment?
Is the proper answer Other mandatory deductible state or local?
For LST (local tax), please select Other mandatory deductible state or local tax from the drop-down menu in Box 14. For PAU, please select Pennsylvania Unemployment tax from the drop-down menu in Box 14.
These deductions will be listed on Schedule A and included as a deduction if you itemize deductions.
