What is New Jerseys state ID number?
State ID Numbers are specific to the entity.
On your W-2, the New Jersey state ID Number would be specific to your employer.
When the employer has entered FLI in box 17, this should be moved to Box 14.
For self-employed people, they, too, can have a state ID Number issued to them if they are remitting taxes to the state.
