I received a bill for local taxes not paid in my 2023 tax return according to Keystone Collections Group in Irwin, PA

I was told by TurboTax software that my 2023 taxes were accurate and correct. So why am I getting a bill for unpaid earned income tax of $592.37?!?

TurboTax does not prepare "local" PA income taxes.

Those you will need to handle separately yourself.

Ask a neighbor or friend at work where they deal with filing and paying those taxes. What is charged depends on exactly what tax district you live in.

And...if you still live in PA and made the same mistake for 2024, you will need to take care of your 2024 local PA taxes. Going forward----your local PA tax bill is always your own responsibility. TurboTax does not support or prepare local tax for PA.
