Where can I change my Solar and Wind Ene3rgy Credit Carryover? I accidently claimed it.

i need to go back and fix this, but can't find where I might have entered it on turbotax. Can someone help?

To make changes to the solar credit, please follow these steps to get back to the Home Energy credits section:

In TurboTax, open your tax return
Click on Federal in the left-hand column, then on Deductions & Credits
Locate the section Your Home and click on Show more
Click Start next to Home Energy Credits
Follow the interview to make the changes needed to your information.

Thanks, but it still won't let me efile my NY State return because it says "Return Claims a Solar and Wind Energy Credit carryover. I went to the NYSTATE Installed Solar Energy Equipment in 2022 and put 'no', then I went to the Unused Solar Energy Credit Carryover from Prior Years and put 0 in all. I still get the same Return Claims... message. Please help! Thanks.

To remove the solar and wind energy carryover from your NY return, please follow the steps below:

Open your return.
Click on State on the left-hand side.
Continue through the return.
On the page, Take a look at New York credits and taxes, scroll down to Unused Solar Energy Credit Carryover from Prior Years.
Delete any zero's that have been populated on the screen.
Click on Tax Tools on the left-hand side.
Click on Tools.
Click on Delete a Form.
Delete Form IT-255 and the IT-255 credit worksheet.
