Why is my Georgia state tax refund still pending after over a week? Did I do something wrong?

The state cannot accept your return until the IRS accepts your federal return.   Millions of federal returns have been sitting on servers waiting for the IRS to open on 1/26 and begin accepting/rejecting federal e-files.  Watch your emails over the next several days

When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.

Check your e-file status:

Hi, my federal tax documents got accepted and for some reason my GA state tax return is pending. How long will it take until it is accepted?

We at TurboTax have no control nor any information about your return once it has been e-filed and accepted by the State's revenue agency.
