Why does turbo tax say come back Jan for irs to approve my advance loan? Liberty tax , HR block and others are approving others and they are getting money

The IRS does not approve a federal tax refund advance loan, the company promoting the loan does that.

TurboTax will not have a refund advance for a 2024 federal tax refund until January 2025.

@rwatson373 Turbotax decides who gets the loans and evn if you are selected, no advance is made until your return is e-filed and accepted.

Turbotax runs their advances very differently. You can only get an advance after you file your tax return, not before, and Turbotax does not charge interest. That means you can't get an advance until the IRS opens e-filing, whenever that happens.

Every company decides for their own business whether or not to offer advances, to whom, and how much to charge.

The Advance Refund loan won't be available until after January 1 and just when you are ready to file. And only if they offered it to you. You can't self select it. Then you don't get it until AFTER your efile is Accepted by the IRS.
