I have requested online Form 4506 (Request for Copy of Tax Return) for someone who has lost her copy of her 2016 tax returns. Does this include a copy of her State Taxes as well as her Federal Taxes?
A Form 4506 request for a copy of a tax return is Only for a Federal tax return. You would need to go to the state department of revenue website to find the procedure to request a copy of a state tax return.
