does federal due and state due mean a refund?

    No.  Tax Due in red means you owe them.  You have to pay the federal or state.  Otherwise it would say Refund and be in green.

    No, that is the amount you owe, but if you are not done, you should ignore it.

    No, it means you have taxes owed.  You would have seen this in the File section of the program on Step 2 that you have taxes owed.  You were required to select an option on how to pay the taxes owed.
