Reinstalling TurboTax Home & Business previous years

I am planing to reinstall Windows 11 Pro because of security reasons. I do have TurboTax Home & Business 2017-2023.

How can I reinstall all these years?

Do I have to purchase new licenses again?

if you purchased them directly from Turbo Tax, the files are in your account at this website:

https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/install-turbotax/

otherwise, years 2017-2020 are no longer supported by Turbo tax.

Why would you need to reinstall these? if you have the *.pdf of your tax return, isn't that all you really need at this point? just curious.

You will not be able to reinstall TurboTax for 2019 or earlier because they are no longer supported. Updates and state programs are no longer available, and activation is no longer supported. New licenses are not available for purchase.

Before you wipe out your existing installation, save a PDF of the 2017, 2018, and 2019 tax returns. Select the option to include "Tax Return, all calculation worksheets."

TurboTax for 2020 will go off support shortly after this coming October 15, 2024.
