The Colorado state ID is CO

Level 15

And if you are looking for the state employer number for a state tax withholding line in some form... you don't need an ID "number in the state area of most forms, unless you had actual state tax withholding done.

IF there was state tax withholding done, the number has to be on the actual tax form they issue to you....If withholding was done and it's not there, then you need to get the number from the people who issued that particular tax form....the number varies based on who issued the form.
