Just go ahead and file your Federal return in TurboTax as you otherwise would. Along the way you'll see a box that asks if you want to e-file your State return while doing your Federal. Simply uncheck that box where it says "I'll file my State return later". Then proceed with you Federal return. It will ignore anything you have for your State return and won't file it.
