Really need to retire my Windows laptop, our Mac laptops work so much better.  Will TT business be available for Mac download for 2024 tax season?  TT Deluxe (for personal) software has been available for Mac users for years.

They'll never make a Mac version of Business.....no one else has one either.

Thanks but was looking for someone to provide some reasons why TT would not produce a Mac version for Business, especially since they have it for Deluxe.  For instance, they don't think it's worth their investment for what they estimate to be a small market (Small businesses on Mac platforms). Has anyone ever seen a reason stated?

We don't anticipate releasing a Mac edition of our business tax software (due to low demand).  However, for tax year 2023 we did release an online version of the business product that can be used by customers on Mac or Windows platforms.

The online edition is available with professional assistance providing live, year round advice and Audit Defense at no additional charge.

I was promised way back, starting in 2004/ 2005, and for years on end that a MAC version was "in the pipes".  Regrettably, I believed these TT reps  and stayed committed to the TurboTax product.  The "low" demand for a MAC version is a dubious reason for not developing: most MAC user bailed and went to other products - except for suckers like me!!  It's just annoying as hell. I eventually bought one of the top-of-line Dell laptop, which isn't fun to use, to file my corporate taxes. This is my last year with Turbo Tax - I own several corporations and it's a colossal hassle and waste of time  to move everythingover from MAC to a PC (Not to mention Quicken does not interface - that was a nightmare never to go near again - I stick to old school spread sheet)  Seems pretty dumb of Intuit not to up its game into the 21st century. ( Turbo Tax is also overlooking the large market who need this version for Estates.)

The 21st century has, and is, being owned by online products. For example, through the July 2024 season Intuit sold around 7 - SEVEN - times the number of online units as they did desktop units. If the R&D costs aren't supported by net profit, it's not going to happen.

What Intuit should do is develop an online version of their business product so that it wouldn't matter which OS customers are using.
