Estimated Tax Credit Applied To Next Year

I did not use Turbo Tax for my 2022 return. My Return Transcript downloaded from the IRS website has a line item for "Estimated Tax Credit Applied to Next Year". Where do I enter this amount in TurboTax? I only see where I can enter estimated tax quarterly payments, which I didn't make this year.

For a 2022 Federal Refund, that you let them keep against 2023 taxes for this tax season?

It's on the Deductions & Credits page..

Look way down the page for the Menu item for "Other Income taxes".

In there is a sub-menu spot for "2022 Refund applied to 2023 federal taxes"

Hi, yes that's my situation, but I don't seem to have "other income taxes" or "2022 refund applied to 2023 federal taxes" as options. Any ideas why?

Yeah..they call it slightly differently in the "Online" vs "Desktop" software.

For "Online"

<on the "Deductions&Credits" page, scroll waaay down the menu

<<expand the "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid" section

<<<<use the "Income Taxes Paid" section

IF you don't see a long menu if items lower on the Deductions&Credits page, you might need to hit a selection button "See All Tax Breaks"
