Question

I received a 1099-INT from the IRS but I'm asked to enter a Payer Street Address but the form only includes Austin, TX 73301. Where do I find the street address?

You can write any address you want if your are unable to move forward.  An example would be 'IRS Street'.  This will not prevent your return from being e-file and you can continue to complete your tax return.

the only items required for that 1099 is payer = IRS or US treasury and amount. you should be able to skip the other questions about it.   however, if TT demands an address I use 281 Apple

Thanks for your quick responses. Yes, I chose the option to upload the document(PDF) and then it auto-filled the form. Once I got to the Federal Review at the end it said I needed to enter the street address and would not let me move forward. I went back and removed the auto-filled form and then added the 1099-INT manually. The Review portion no longer made it a requirement.

I'm not sure if it's because when it uploaded the file, it included the Payer's Federal Identification Number and when I entered it manually, there was not a field to enter that info, so it wasn't included.

Maybe:

Payer FID = Street address

No Payer FID = No street address

Not sure but good to know I can enter one of the streets provided or any street to move forward.
Thanks!
