How do i know if my file has been efiled

When you E-File, your return is sent electronically directly from TurboTax to the IRS (and your State Tax Department if applicable). E-filing makes things very efficient and cuts down on a lot of clerical errors.

(If you e-filed a joint return, make sure you are using the taxpayer information of the first filer listed on the return.)
