Hi! My control number in box d will not be accepted when I attempt to fill it manually. Uploading my W2 as a pdf is also not working. Anyone else run into this issue?

You do not need the control number in order to file your tax return; leave box d empty.

Hi, thank you! Tried to leave box 'd' empty and it said it was required unfortunately.

If you get errors when attempting to e-file with an empty box D, just enter any number in this format: 5 digits, space, 5 digits (for example 12345 67890).
