You can start the return over and you will be back to the original cost , as follows:

  1. Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online while working in your program
  2. Choose Tools
  3. Choose Clear and Start Over

Can someone explain this price-gouging bait-and-switch behavior?

How is it supposed to work? Because it wasn't explained when I signed up.

@kelinwelborn

Maybe..MaybeNot.

Prices usually rise on March 1st of EVERY Year.

....though, I'm not yet seeing it bumped up on the main web page, so I don't know if they decided to delay the price increase....(Edited:  Ahhhh yeah, I have a Fidelity cookie that may be keeping a somewhat lower price for me)

At the TurboTax product page linked below, I'm seeing that Premium increased from $99 to $129 on March 1 for Federal, and the webpage is showing that there will likely be another price increase to $139 at some point later (based on an adjacent price with a slash through it.)   A state return is now showing as $59, but looks due to rise to $64 at some point.

@mesquitebean    Figured out that I may still have a Fidelity cookie that keeps price down some.
