Vanguard Info for Tax Return

Turbo Tax 2025 will not download my tax information from Vanguard.  Turbo Tax said the information would be available on 1/29/26  As of 2/2/26 nothing happens when I try to download the data.  Any idea how I can get my info into Turbo Tax without manually inputting it?

Try closing TurboTax, clearing your cache and deleting your cookies. Review the TurboTax Help article How to clear your cache and How do I delete cookies? for specific instructions for your browser. Also, reboot your computer.

Also, try turning off all anti-virus software, as it may be a connectivity issue not allowing your import.  Here's How to Turn Off Anti-Virus Programs.

If you’re still having issues, please share what happens when you try to import.

Combining the online tips and speaking with TurboTax Agent the following steps solved the issue.
I was able to upload 5 tax forms to TurboTax desktop 2025

The Turbotax screen where the upload is to be done using account number and document ID is
    ttd-fdp-ui-config-v2.app.intuit.com

    1) Copy the above url into the Chrome browser
on the left click which takes you to Site Settings
    Privacy Security
    Permissions

    2) Under permission
    -  pop up and redirects  - allow
    -  local network (second from the bottom of the screen) - allow

And another note.....for several users, there was a strange new Pop-Up about allowing access to your device...that you have to accept, before the data will actually import from Vanguard to your file   (not sure that pop-up occurs in all situations).....but for one of my import situations, the notice indicated the download was successful, but nothing actually downloaded. I had to repeat the import process, and then hit the "Accept" in the Pop-Up, and THEN the data appeared in my tax file.

And, whether the special tax file, that is needed for import into software, is really available or not may depend on what you hold at Vanguard.....even though many tax files are ready for certain investors, some folks have to wait longer.   Like for those holding REITs, those might not come out until late Feb or early March (my Mom's typically didn't get posted until the first week in March).

It's 2/7/26... still not able to download 1090's from Vanguard. Tried clearing cache; turned off antivirus, etc.... Still nothing. I selected download, clicked on "Continue" and a separate tab opened; put in the Acct # and Doc. ID; went through the robot process; It confirms that document was downloaded into TT, but nothing happens!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!! This is about the 5th time I've tried this!!! URGHHHH

I could not download my Vanguard info using Google Chrome. I switch my default browser to Edge and it worked fine. Problem solved.
