If I used TurboTax online for years and filed all by myself can I switch to a different tax person/source to file my taxes for now on? Do I have to let my new tax person that I switched and use to use TurboTax? Do I have to have my information from TurboTax sent to my new tax person?

You can have your tax returns prepared anywhere you choose to use, whether it is to use other tax software or if you choose to go to a local paid tax pro.   If you go to a local tax professional they will likely want to see copies of some of your past tax returns.   There is no reason to keep it a secret that you used TurboTax.   TT is not going to "send" the information.   It will be up to you to print out copies of your returns and take those along with any pertinent tax documents to the new tax preparer.
