If you are certain that Form 3514 does not belong on your return, you can delete it. You should be signed in and working in TurboTax: In the left-hand black menu, choose Tools. Click on Delete a Form from the window that pops up. You should now see the Review Form List. Scroll down the list and click Delete on Form 3514. You may get a pop up telling you additional worksheets and forms are being deleted. Approve and click delete. You should come back to the Review Form List. Scroll to the bottom and click Continue with My Return.For more information, click here.

If like me, you were stuck at the review step that kept asking you to enter business zip code, address, etc even though you don't have any, and you don't see the form 3514 under Tools->Delete Forms, please try what was suggested to me by one of their specialists. Just enter your home address and dummy information in 3514 and complete that form. Once the review says you are all good, and before you file your return, go to tools->delete forms, locate form 3514 under the state forms, and delete it. Hope that helps.

I do not understand why Form 3514 is attached to my CA State Tax. When I asked your rep what that form is used for, she stated "It's a tax Credit" When I asked what type of credit, she could not tell me. I looked up what it is for and FTB 3514 to determine whether you qualify to claim the EITC, YCTC, and FYTC, provide information about your qualifying children, if applicable, and figure out the amount of your credits. I don't have children and never entered I have dependants. I went to delete this form as per the instructions but was unable to. So, I filled out and uploaded this form, but it did not attach. This is very frustrating as my brother filed with H & R Block the same day I did my taxes with Turbo Tax and did not experience a delay. He received a notice saying both his were accepted on Monday. I see I still have to wait until the 26th to file and there is NOTHING I can do.
