Can someone tell me where EXACTLY I can find the Account number and Doc ID on my Vanguard 1099-R form? Hard to find on the form. Called Vanguard service, no help.

Well here's mine. Upper Right. Yikes, I edited it to remove my Doc ID & Acct number.

On an IRS Form 1099-R there is not an account number and a Document ID required to be entered on the tax return.

If you have a paper 1099-R or a PDF of the 1099-R, there may be an account number box in the lower left of the form.

Nope, there is no document ID or account number on my Vanguard 1099-R in the spot you show or anywhere else -- and it's not required for filing the tax return -- but you turbotoxin idiots STILL require it to import the information from the 1099-R from Vanguard so I'll now have to enter all the information MANUALLY which is what I pay you fools for. OH HOW I HATE TURBOTAX!
