They mail them to you in January. If you did not receive it you can go on the Social Security site to get it.

Go on the Social Security website and request your SSA1099. Go to www.ssa.gov You have to create an account with a user name and password.

The Social Security office mails the tax forms out in January, and you should have received it by February 1, 2024. If you haven't received the forms, you can download it or contact the Social Security office in your area. Refer to the website Replacement SSA-1099 for more information.

To report your social security benefits:

Sign in to your TurboTax account
Select the magnifying glass to search and type social security income in the search box
Select Jump to social security income
Select yes on the next screen Did you receive Social Security or Railroad Retirement benefits in 2023?
Select the box that says Social Security benefits (Form SSA-1099)
Enter the information and select Continue.
