To enter your retirement income, Go to  Federal> Wages and Income>Retirement Plans and Social Security>IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals to enter your 1099R.

The TurboTax retirement income section is available and fully functional.

You should have your 1099-R available.

As @xmasbaby0 Indicated, you should follow these steps:

  1. Go to Wages and Income
  2. Retirement Plans and Social Security
  3. IRA  401 k) Pension Plan Withdrawals
  4. Enter your 1099R.

I entered the info from the 1099r.  When i continue Turbotax asks in 9b Total Employees Contributions and it's not an RMD as that's entered elsewhere.  Also "is the taxable annuity the taxable amount?".  I'm confused--this is a monthly federal pension.  please advise me on how to enter this.  I feel like I'm in the wrong place as it's not a TSP or an RMD it's monthly retirement check.  Help!
