I have a private student loan, I am the primary borrower, my parent is the co borrower. Who can claim the interest paid on this loan for 2016?
Who paid the interest ? To claim the deduction, you must be legally obligated to pay interest on a qualified
student loan and you paid interest on a qualified student loan.
