Not with the "Online" software. The Online software can only be used for 2019 taxes.

For 2017, you need a full MAC or Windows computer, and you need to buy and download/install the desktop software.....buy here:

If you are referring to TurboTax online, the answer would be No. You can only file the 2019 taxes with the online version. To file the past years' tax returns including the year 2017, you may want to purchase the TurboTax desktop version to file. For purchase, please see the above attached blue link from user StreamTrain.
