1099-Q Payments From Qualified Education Programs
Computation of this entire section seems incorrect.
2.c. Adjusted Qualified Higher Education Expenses applied amount is way too low.
I have 2 1099-Q from different plans, 1099-T with tuition and scholarship
Sum of "c Adjusted Qualified Higher Education Expenses applied" of the two worksheets is fraction of the tuition - scholarship. It also does not consider "room & board" and other qualified educational expenses.
Issue exists as of 2-15-26.
Is fix in the works?
