I rolled over my HSA into another qualifying HSA account, and the HSA Summary is blank. Is this a glitch?

if you did a trustee to trustee transfer, there is no tax reporting.

To make sure TurboTax correctly records the transaction so the IRS knows it was a tax-free rollover, you must manually go through the 1099-SA workflow:

  • Go to Federal > Wages & Income.
  •
  • Scroll down to Less Common Income and click Start/Revisit next to 1099-SA, HSA, MSA.
  •
  • Make sure you check the box for HSA and advance through the screens.
  •
  • Enter the details from the Form 1099-SA sent to you by your old HSA custodian (showing the total amount distributed).
  •
  • When the software asks, "Did you spend your HSA money on medical expenses only?", select No, I didn't.
  •
  • On the following screen, TurboTax will ask what you did with the money. Enter the exact amount you moved into the Rollover field.
