If you are a W-2 employee, work-related expenses are no longer deductible as part of your Federal return (unless you fit a very specific category of worker).  You can still enter the expenses in case your state may allow a deduction.

If you are self-employed then your expenses are entered in the section for Self-Employment.

 

If you are a W-2 employee then none of your employee business expenses are deductible on a federal tax return due to the tax code changes in effect for tax years 2018 thru 2025.
