The IRS didn't agree with my 2021 Turbo Tax filing and amended the return as follows:

2020 | Adjusted Gross Income $ 1.00                          Exemption:     01:  Filing Status Single:

Federal | Taxable Income $ 0.00                                   Adjusted Gross Income: 1.00

Tax | Total Tax $ 895.00                                                   Tax Per Return: 895.00

Return | Total Payments/Credits $ 1,200.00               SE Taxable Income:

Summary | Amount to be Refunded $ 305.00          TaxPayer:          5846.00.   Deceased Spouse 0.00

Effective Tax Rate 0.00%                                               Total Self Employment Tax: 895.00. (which had to pay)

My problem is should I use the 2020 turbo tax return that is on my computer to transfer to 2021. [pii removed]

nothing you cited in your post impacts your 2021 tax return.

when you import, amounts will be cleared.

After review, did you come to understand why you thought you should get a big refund, and why the IRS denied it ?

This was a TurboTax mistake, not mine.
