Missing Change my deduction option to change to itemized deduction 2025

After filing my 2025, I was advised by my financial advisor I should have chosen to itemized deductions. When I attempt to amend my filing, TurboTax only display standard deduction is better for me without giving me an option to change to itemized deduction. And not comparison number is provided on screen (desktop version). Has anymore run into this issue for 2025 TurboTax?

See the screen shot below. Click the small blue button at the bottom that says "Change my deduction."

Could be several reasons why it's giving you the Standard Deduction. If you are filing Married filing Separate you have to take the same deduction as your spouse.

If you are using the Desktop program, Go to Forms, then open the Info Wks. Go down to Part VI and see if the 3rd box is checked for use standard deduction even if lower than itemized deductions.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot! I was unable to see the bar chart until I went thru the entire filing and click thru most detail screen. Then that bar chart suddenly appeared. I was able to change my deduction option has you noted then.
