Medicare Premium Deduction

In Wisconsin you're allowed to deduct your Part B Insurance Premiums. But Turbo Tax doesn't do this.

I had the same problem last year and had to file an amended return. Why hasn't this been fixed?

You may need to add this subtraction in manually as you prepare your Wisconsin return.

When you begin your Wisconsin return, there will be a screen that says "Here is the income Wisconsin Handles Differently"
then go to medical>medical care insurance
here you can enter the premium paid as a self-employed person, employed person, or unemployed person. If you are retired, enter this as an unemployed person.

Level 15

You must input your Medicare Part B premiums on the 'Her's the income that Wisconsin handles differently" under Medical- Medical Care Insurance.
