ItsDeductible Alternatives

So far:

Deductible Duck: [link removed]

Deductib.ly: [link removed]

DeductAble: [link removed]

Kebab: [link removed]

Deduct It: [link removed]

Deductible.me: [link removed]

Not sure why the above links had to be removed. The products listed are no longer any competition for Intuit since ItsDeductible was discontinued.

    2 more...

    Kebab: [link removed]

    Deduct It: [link removed]

(fast running out of "Deduct..." names and puns)

Not clear yet how they plan to import into Turbotax, looking at the 2025 desktop version they removed the options to import from ItsDeductible but there is obvious replacement to import from CSV etc.  Tho at this time the charitable donations section is not fully available.

Another solid option is [link removed]

The least that Intuit could do is allow alternatives to be linked.  Bad enough I found out that the reason I buy there software was removed AFTER I bought it. Now they really don't want anybody else that they're NOT competing with to be able to help me.

I'll never buy a turbo tax product again.

No one else does that so why should TurboTax?

Also, you can get a refund on your TurboTax purchase if you bought it within the last 60 days. Just contact customer support.

Because intuit neutered there "deluxe" software and offered not workaround. "deluxe" is now just "basic".  Price it accordingly.

The absolute least this terrible company could do is allow others to help the customers it left in the lurch by letting the community point out how to make their nearly worthless software use able.  That's why Intuit needs to let the community post links to their non-competitors.  Intuit did what nobody else does - remove functionality without creating a replacement.

    Sincerely,

A loyal 23 year customer that will never purchase an intuit product ever again.  Remind me, is it easier to keep a loyal customer, or get a new one? How much more does it cost to get a new customer than keep a loyal one?

Adding one more option to the mix. We launched ItsDeducted in March 2026 as a reaction to TurboTax shutting down ItsDeductible. Our aim was to use modern tech (AI) to make your donation tracking MUCH faster (note: I got this launched in time to finish up my own 2025 tax prep - 273 donated items tracked in 22 minutes total time spent.)

    A few noteable callouts:

    • you can search for individual items like you did in ItsDeductible (note: don't do this if you don't need to  )
    • you can upload a photo with one or numerous items and the AI will identify everything for you (MUCH faster than one-by-one searches)
    • if you already have a list, you can either copy and paste right into the app or upload a spreadsheet (csv/xls/xlsx)
    • unlike ItsDeductible and other tools using fixed/static catalogs, you won't see the "Item not found" when adding/importing and you won't need to create all the custom items
    • export indiviual or full-year donation reports/summaries to PDF/Excel/TXF

There's a free tier and it takes about 20 seconds to get started. I really hope you like what we've built. And, we're making improvements all the time, so would be thrilled to get feedback from the community!

Note: proper/responsible disclaimer. TurboTax Online does not yet support importing donated items, so (for now) all the ItsDeductible replacements (ours included) will not give you a seamless transfer across tools - we're all hoping TT adds this functionality in time for 2026 tax prep.

Just for the sake of eliminating any confusion, neither does TurboTax desktop, to the best of my knowledge.
