I'm applying for my first job and I started filling out my W-4 form. I'm 17 and I was wondering if I could claim myself as a dependent?

NO. At your age you can be claimed as a dependent by your parents. And if you attend college later as a full-time student your parents can claim you as a dependent until the year you turn 24. When you prepare your first tax return, please do not make the mistake common among inexperienced filers of saying you cannot be claimed. You will be asked when you prepare your first tax return if you can be claimed as a dependent and you will need to say yes. If you answer incorrectly you cause a lot of problems for the person/people (parents usually) who can claim you.

As for your W-4 you are single and have NO dependents.
