Error when going to charitable donation section

Hello,

I have the 2025 Premier version.  For 3 weeks whenever I try to enter the charitable donation section, I get the following error:  "Hmm, looks like we've hit a snag.  We recommend you revisit the last topic you were working on to make sure all your info's correct"

I go back and let Turbotax walk me through each section, but when I get to that one, I can't do a thing.  Is this a bug?  Is there a fix for it?  Thanks.

IF you are using the "Desktop" software.

Switch to Forms Mode, and then Open & Delete every charity, or charitable gift form you find in the left-side display.

Then go back to the interview and try again:

    I'd guess there's a 65.5 % chance of that working.

Thanks for the idea.  I went into one of my saved returns and did what you suggested.  Unfortunately, I still got the same error after deleting the forms and trying again.  I even saved the return after deleting the forms and I still received that error.  Any other ideas would be welcomed.

    Thanks Friend.

    I'm lost...but...maybe:

    1)  IF on a Windows computer, a new Windows OS update was issued this week.  IF partially-installed, that is known to block some TTX functions.  Check to ensure it is fully installed and then reboot.  (heck...reboot in any case.)

    still a no-go?

    2)  Again, if on Windows computer...download and run the "Manual Update"   (it is slow, so be really patient)

Manually Update TurboTax for Windows Software

    ..........then try again.

Can't think of much else.....maybe rt-click on the TTX 2025 icon and select  "Run as Administrator" ??

Here’s the solution that seemed to fix the issue, very old school but it worked.  I simply uninstalled TurboTax 2025, and then reinstalled it using the same executable that I was originally provided.

Once  it was done installing, it repaired itself.  My concern was that I’d lose my progress on several returns that I had started but alas, they were all intact when I launched the reinstalled version.

I guess the simple approach worked this time!
