Error on starting Turbo tax

Hi,

My 2024Turbo tax premier bought online does not open the application for me anymore (last was mar18, 2025). It says some error occurred. It worked fine when i opened the last time. I restarted the machine but to no result. What can I do? This is unexpected as my return was ready to be filed.

It is not browser based. I downloaded the application on my machine so it has a shortcut to start. I did reboot my machine.

I went into Settings, Installed Apps, then to the Microsoft Visual C++ app(s) and selected Modify, then Repair. I then was able to open TT 2025.
