1098 Second Loan

I've already filed my taxes for the year.  After doing so, I realize we had not at received our 1098 for our second mortgage. The interest amount will not effect our tax payment since our itemize deductions would still be below the standard amount. Should I file an amendment or is it ok to leave out?

Thanks

No, it is not necessary to file an amended tax return as you will still be using the standard deduction and that will not change your tax liability.
